Tyre Nichols was brutally beaten by 5 Memphis officers after a simple traffic stop, tragically loosing his fight and passing away 3 days later in the hospital.
5 Memphis police officers have been arrested and charged with 2nd degree murder. 3 EMT firefighters have been fired and 2 officers have also lost their jobs as a result of this event. Officers yelled constant mis-guiding commands and then proceeded to beat Tyre so badly he remained in the hospital the remaining days of his life. It is hard to imagine having a wonderful day and being so close to home, and then encountering the police who are supposed to keep you safe, but instead they violently terrorize the last few minutes of your time in this world. May the Nichols' family find the peace in their lives to heal through this horrific tragedy.
